About the role
Executive Officer - Loans & Assurance Monitoring Team
Location: Solihull (Sandford House, B91 3QJ)
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm or 9am - 5pm
Work pattern: 60% office-based, 40% remote
Pay rate: £17.82 per hour
Start date: ASAP
Contract end date: 27/02/2027
Training period: 6 weeks
Security clearance: CTC
Our client, a reputable government organisation, is hiring for a dedicated Executive Officer to join the Loans & Assurance Monitoring Team in Solihull. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to vital resettlement services, supporting individuals through the integration loans scheme.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting casework activities to meet Resettlement Services objectives
* Collaborating with experienced caseworkers to process applications for integration loans
* Conducting due diligence checks to ensure applications are complete, accurate, and meet eligibility criteria
* Making informed decisions on loan applications in line with policies and procedures
* Managing requests for re-consideration and escalating issues when necessary
* Maintaining accurate records and updating systems to reflect application statuses
* Engaging professionally with applicants via email to request additional information or respond to queries
* Assisting the team with wider activities to ensure high-quality, compliant decision-making
What you'll bring:
* Experience working within Home Office environments
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with applicants and team members
* A valid UK passport and residence in the UK for over 3 years (excluding periods of 6+ months outside the UK in the last 3 years)
* Willingness to undergo security clearance process

Role specific requirements:You must hold a valid passport and must have lived in the UK for longer than 3 years.
