Veterinary Care Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our Corstorphine Vets for Pets practice. In this role, you will provide crucial support to veterinarians and veterinary nurses in delivering high-quality care to animals. Your responsibilities will include assisting with animal examinations and treatments, preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments, and ensuring a hygienic environment by cleaning kennels and treatment areas. A genuine interest in animal health and welfare, along with strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities, will make you an ideal candidate. Previous veterinary experience is advantageous but not essential, as we are committed to providing training for suitable candidates.

This part-time position offers 30 hours of work per week, including early and late shifts, with a requirement to work every third Saturday or Sunday.
