About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Site Inspector for a fixed-term contract of 24 months. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing construction activities to ensure compliance with established standards, specifications, and safety regulations. You will conduct regular inspections of materials, workmanship, and construction methods, documenting your findings and reporting any discrepancies to project management. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying potential issues and recommending corrective actions, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction practices and relevant building codes. You should have excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records of inspections, preparing reports, and participating in project meetings to discuss progress and address any concerns. A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, along with relevant certification, is preferred. Previous experience in a similar role will be highly advantageous.
