HGV - Automotive Technician / Mechanic - Workshop Based - Night Shift - Glasgow

We are seeking a skilled HGV - Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our dynamic workshop team in Glasgow on a night shift basis. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy goods vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that all vehicles are safe and roadworthy, meeting both company standards and legal requirements. Daily tasks will include conducting thorough inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing essential repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant automotive qualification and have experience working with HGVs. You must be familiar with various diagnostic tools and techniques, demonstrating a strong understanding of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial, as is the ability to work effectively under pressure. A valid driving license and a commitment to health and safety standards are also required.
