Safety Critical Software and Hardware Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Critical Software and Hardware Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that both software and hardware systems meet rigorous safety standards throughout their lifecycle. You will conduct safety assessments, perform hazard analysis, and develop safety cases to demonstrate compliance with relevant industry standards. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the development and validation of critical systems, ensuring they are robust, reliable, and safe for deployment.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and project managers, to identify and mitigate potential risks. You will lead safety audits and reviews, providing guidance on best practices for software and hardware development. A strong understanding of safety-critical systems and relevant regulatory frameworks will be essential for success in this position.

To excel in this role, you should possess a degree in a relevant field such as computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline, along with significant experience in safety assurance within critical systems. Familiarity with safety standards such as ISO 26262, DO-178C, or IEC 61508 is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders are also key attributes we are looking for in a candidate.
