Residential Support Worker (SEN) - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Supporting young people with daily living skills and encouraging independence.
• Providing personal care where required, always with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Building positive relationships that help young people feel safe and confident.
• Encouraging participation in education, hobbies, recreation and community activities.
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals and families.
• Recording important information and contributing to care plans.
• Celebrating progress and recognising every achievement, no matter how small.
• Applicants must be available to work the below shifts:

Option 1: Monday - Friday: 06.45 to 13.30 and 15.45 to 22.00 (you must be able to do a mixture of shifts)

Option 2: Monday - Sunday: 06.45 to 13.30, 15.45 to 22.00, 12.00 to 22.00 and 06.45 to 16.00 (you must be able to do a mixture of shifts)

Qualifications

• Demonstrated resilience, flexibility, and a positive, patient approach to supporting individuals with SEN.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory.
• Access to your own transport is required due to the location of the facility.
• Previous experience in care or the education sector is not required but is desirable.
