As a MIG Fabricator/Welder, you’ll be working on different builds each time, interpreting fabrication drawings and working autonomously from start to finish. The role requires a confident MIG Fabricator/Welder who understands fabrication as a core skill, not just welding, and who takes pride in accuracy, structure, and finish.
Key responsibilities:
- Fabricating and welding bespoke components and assemblies
- Working independently from detailed fabrication drawings
- Producing high-quality multi-run welds to specification
- Using weld turntables as part of day-to-day fabrication work
- Supporting varied project builds within the projects team
Essential skills:
- Proven experience as a MIG Fabricator/Welder
- Strong fabrication ability, not just welding
- Confident reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
- Ability to work independently and manage varied tasks
- Experience using weld turntables
Desirable experience:
- Multi-run welding to a high standard
- Use of large pipe rollers
