Drainage Engineer

Drainage EngineerI am recruiting for a Highway Drainage Engineer in Derby to support the Flooding and Drainage commissioning of various highway infrastructure assets drainage projects. Hybrid role, 6-month rolling contract, hourly rate is based on experience.(Derbyshire County Council, Station Road, Darley Dale, Matlock, DE4 2EQ) 2 days per week. Contract period of six months, with the potential to extend depending on workload and budget availability Key Responsibilities:Manage cyclic, reactive, and planned works on the highway drainage networkUndertake site inspections and surveys as requiredSupport the collection and management of data relating to highway drainage assetsProvide timely and appropriate responses to customer and service user enquiriesSkills & Experience Required:BTec Higher in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with relevant post-qualification experienceStrong technical and practical problem-solving abilitiesExperience in highway drainage asset management and maintenance, or transferable skills from a similar fieldThese roles will work closely with other services across the Highways Division to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.The NRL Group connect global companies with the right people to bring engineering projects to life.
