Senior Ecologist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive ecological assessments and providing expert advice on biodiversity management and conservation strategies. This role involves designing and implementing ecological studies, interpreting data, and preparing detailed reports that communicate findings to stakeholders. You will be expected to lead field surveys, monitor environmental impacts, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations while contributing to the development of sustainable practices. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with clients, regulatory bodies, and community groups will be essential to promote conservation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in ecology or a related field, along with substantial experience in ecological research and project management. Proficiency in statistical analysis software and GIS tools is essential, as well as a thorough understanding of local and national environmental legislation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for effectively conveying complex ecological information to diverse audiences. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel for fieldwork are also required.
