Technician - Electrical - Torness

We are seeking a skilled Technician - Electrical to join our team at a leading facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulations. You will conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of electrical systems, diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime. Additionally, you will assist in the development of maintenance schedules and help with the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives.

To succeed in this position, you should possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and components, as well as experience in both high and low voltage environments. A relevant technical qualification, such as an NVQ or equivalent, is essential. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Strong communication skills are also important, as you will collaborate with various departments and provide support to operational teams.
