Position: Accountant

Location: North London

Salary: Depending on experience 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), monthly closing activities, and cash flow management.

• Prepare VAT returns and coordinate with external tax advisors to support corporate tax compliance and reporting requirements.

• Process, monitor, and maintain Accounts Payable transactions for the Head Office.

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and proactively resolve accounting issues.

• Support statutory audits by preparing audit schedules, financial analyses, and supporting documentation.

• Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to continuously improve accounting processes and financial controls.
