Fortus Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Passive Fire Protection contractor for experienced Fire Stoppers to join their growing team on a number of long-term projects across North London.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established contractor, carrying out a variety of passive fire protection works within occupied and live environments.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of fire stopping works, including:

• Installation of fire barriers and fire curtain systems
• Compound fire stopping
• Head of wall systems
• Fireboard installation
• Tape & Joint
• Completing digital job sheets and photographic evidence

Requirements:

To be considered, you’ll need:

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in Fire Stopping
• Experience installing barrier and curtain systems
• Blue CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Own van suitable for transporting materials
• Own tools and PPE
• Good attention to detail and quality workmanship

Desirable Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Fire Stopping
• FIRAS
• IPAF
• PASMA
