Vitalis are recruiting for experienced Safeguarding Children Coordinator to work in Kirklees Council.
 
The job will have a responsibility for the coordination of serious case reviews and practice reviews and audits and performance in Kirklees.
Role Overview
A Safeguarding Coordinator is required to support safeguarding activity within a local authority setting. The role has been created to provide additional capacity and administrative coordination across safeguarding functions.
Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate safeguarding processes and activities in line with organisational policies and procedures.
• Support the management and progression of safeguarding referrals and related work.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to safeguarding activity.
• Liaise with internal teams, professionals, and external stakeholders as required.
• Monitor and track safeguarding actions to ensure timely completion.
• Provide administrative and operational support to safeguarding practitioners and managers.
• Assist with reporting, data management, and compliance requirements.
• Support communication and information sharing between relevant services.
