An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Social Worker to join City of Doncaster Council to cover a Maternity Leave within their frontline Child Protection Team. This dedicated interim post offers fantastic contract longevity, allowing you to manage a settled caseload and make a lasting, positive impact on local children and families.

• Child Protection Planning: Manage a caseload of children subject to Child Protection (CP) plans and Child in Need (CIN) frameworks.

• Statutory Visits & Reviews: Conduct regular statutory visits, chair core groups, and produce detailed reports for Child Protection Conferences.

• Risk Management & Assessment: Complete robust single assessments, evaluate ongoing risk, and coordinate targeted multi-agency support.

• Multi-Agency Safeguarding: Collaborate closely with health professionals, schools, police, and early help networks to ensure children are protected effectively.

• Professional Registration: Qualified Social Worker with active Social Work England (SWE) registration.

• Statutory Experience: Demonstrable post-ASYE experience working within statutory Child Protection, Duty & Assessment, or Safeguarding teams.

• Key Skills: Excellent analytical report-writing ability, confident risk assessment skills, and a commitment to child-centred practice.

• Mobility: Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for community visits.
