We’re currently recruiting for a Day-to-Day Supply Work to join a Primary School in Backworth on a long- or short-term basis starting in September.

This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Deliver lessons and support learning by following the teacher’s plan and school guidelines.
• Build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Complete basic marking, feedback and classroom administration.
• Provide continuity and support when regular staff are absent.

Requirements or Skills:

• Recent experience working in a school or education setting
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills
• An enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
