Studio Typesetter - 7175

We are seeking a detail-oriented Studio Typesetter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and formatting text for various print and digital materials, ensuring that all content meets the highest standards of quality and consistency. Your primary duties will include interpreting design layouts, applying typographic principles, and collaborating closely with designers and editors to create visually appealing and readable documents. You will also be tasked with proofreading and reviewing proofs to eliminate any errors before final production.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in typesetting software, such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress, along with a keen eye for detail and a passion for typography. A solid understanding of design principles and print production processes is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving will help you excel in this fast-paced environment. A degree in Graphic Design, Communication Arts, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant work experience in typesetting or a similar role.
