About the Role
Zest Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teachers for full‑time and part‑time roles across Dudley and the wider Black Country area, starting September 2026.
These positions involve delivering the full Science curriculum across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach your specialist subject at KS5 depending on school requirements. Subjects include Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
We work with a variety of secondary schools — from large academies to smaller community settings — all of which offer supportive, inclusive environments and place a strong emphasis on raising achievement for all students.
You Will:
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inspiring learning environment
- Assess pupil progress through tests, assignments and other assessment methods
- Provide constructive feedback and personalised support
- Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour
- Contribute to the wider Science department where required
Planning and marking responsibilities apply only to short‑term or long‑term placements.
What We’re Looking For:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification with QTS
- A bachelor’s degree (ideally in a science‑related subject)
- Confident subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience teaching KS3–KS4 Science (KS5 experience desirable)
- Ability to plan, deliver, and assess high‑quality lessons
- Good classroom and behaviour‑management skills
