Quality Manager

Our client is a well established and growing business within the packaging sector, supplying innovative solutions to customers across a range of industries. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Technical/Quality Manager to lead their quality function and drive continuous improvement across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands on environment, taking ownership of quality systems and ensuring products and processes consistently meet the highest standards.

The role

• Lead and maintain the company’s Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and customer requirements.
• Manage internal and external audits.
• Investigate non conformances, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with production, operations and commercial teams to support quality improvements.
• Monitor quality performance, analyse data and produce reports.
• Manage customer quality queries and technical documentation.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the business.
• Lead, develop and support the quality team.

The ideal candidate

• Previous experience in a Technical or Quality Management position within manufacturing or packaging.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and audit processes.
• Experience managing customer and supplier quality issues.
• Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
• Organised with strong attention to detail.
• A proactive approach and a passion for continuous improvement.
