This is a specialist day centre with a difference, unlike over adult education centres this aims to break the mould. This centre has the young people and adults at the centre of everything! This ofsted OUTSTANDING centre is seeking a Learning support Worker to join their team. Supporting small groups of learners with their educational goals, work experience and life skills.
In this role you will support learners 18+ years with complex needs associated with Autism. This is a centre that offers every learner a relevant, creative and diverse curriculum that enables every learner to achieve, grow in confidence and self esteem and lead a life of educational adventure. If you are looking for a Part time permanent role within a supportive adult education environment then this is the role for you! Applicants must be available 3-4 days a week.

All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
Committed, resilient and creative individual who is committed to supporting the needs of learners with complex SEN needs
Level 2 Diploma in teaching and learning or health and social care (desirable not essential)
Experience working or volunteering with children, young people or adults (desirable)
Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
Supporting young people and adults with complex needs
Working and supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
Supporting not just the educational but also the physical and spiritual well being of the pupils
