Mobile Maintenance Technician

Randstad C&P are working with a national FM client to onboard a temporary Mobile Maintenance Technician in the North Tyneside region. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity.

The Package:

• Pay rate between £17ph - £22ph (Umbrella or PAYE)
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• Temporary ongoing contract (min 1 month)
• Own vehicle needed

The Duties:

• Carry out emergency responsive repairs and scheduled planned maintenance in occupied and void homes.
• Fix plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, tap replacements, and basic sanitary ware.
• Complete painting, decorating, and surface preparation on internal and external walls.
• Fit, grout, sealant, and replace wall and floor tiles.
• Perform general multi-trade tasks like minor carpentry, plaster repairs, and lock replacements.
• Provide polite, clean, and respectful service when working in resident's homes.
• Follow all Health & Safety guidelines and housing regulations.

The Requirements:

• City and Guilds/NVQ qualification to Level 2 Building Maintenance Operative or equivalent.
• Desired minimum of a blue CSCS
• Excellent working knowledge of health and safety.
• Customer focused with experience of working in both occupied and void properties.
• Own vehicle and UK drivers licence.
