We're recruiting an experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join a highly skilled aviation engineering team based at MOD Boscombe Down. As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will work alongside mechanical and avionic specialists to ensure aircraft are maintained to the highest engineering and safety standards.Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out line and depth maintenance on aircraft.Certifying aircraft for Release to Service in accordance with regulatory requirements.Providing technical guidance and support to technicians and inspectors.Working closely with engineering teams and customer representatives to resolve technical issues.Completing all maintenance documentation accurately and ensuring compliance with engineering procedures.Promoting a strong safety culture and maintaining exceptional quality standards.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
EASA Part 66 B1 Licence.Experience within a civil or military aviation maintenance environment.Supervisory or team leadership experience.Strong technical problem-solving skills.Knowledge of composite materials and MOD engineering procedures.Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable:
Type Rating on Grob 115E aircraft.Experience with Lycoming 360 engines.
