Crosby, Maryport CA15 6RH, UK Avon Search & Selection About the Role We are recruiting for a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join a dedicated team within a warm and welcoming residential care setting in Crosby. This is a full-time day position working 37.5 hours per week, offering the opportunity to take a lead role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You will support both residents and care staff, helping to ensure dignity, independence, and wellbeing are always at the heart of daily life. The service is a charming, characterful Victorian property set in a peaceful location close to local transport links and the seafront. It provides residential and respite care for up to 20 residents, including specialist support for individuals living with dementia. The Setting This is a true “home from home” environment where residents are treated as individuals and supported to live life their way. The home offers spacious communal lounges, a separate dining area, comfortable personalised bedrooms, and welcoming spaces where families are encouraged to visit at any time. Residents are supported to maintain independence wherever possible, with care tailored to personal routines, preferences, and interests. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and family-oriented, with a strong emphasis on respect, choice, and dignity.
