Our client within the commercial vehicle export industry, are looking for a hardworking and reliable HGV Valeter to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent.

The Role

As an HGV Valeter, you will play a key role in preparing our vehicles to the highest standards before they are marketed and sold. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will ensure all vehicles are cleaned, presented professionally, and ready for photography and customer viewings.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and valet the interior and exterior of HGVs and commercial vehicles to a high standard.
  
  
• Operate pressure washing equipment to clean vehicles effectively (experience preferred but training can be provided).
  
  
• Work outdoors throughout the year in varying weather conditions, with appropriate PPE and waterproof clothing provided.
  
  
• Ensure vehicles are fully prepared and presented before being photographed for sale.
  
  
• Maintain consistently high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
  
  
• Keep the wash bay and surrounding work areas clean, organised, and safe.
  
  
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and guidelines.
  
  
• Work efficiently to meet preparation targets and business deadlines.

Essential Requirements

• Previous valeting or vehicle preparation experience.

• Ability to work in a physically demanding role and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  
  

Desirable

• Experience using pressure washing equipment.
  
  
• Experience working with HGVs, commercial vehicles, or large fleet vehicles.
  
  

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
  
  
• 8:00am to 5:30pm
