Golang Developer Maidstone, Kent Hybrid - office based 2 days per week Golang Developer needed for an expanding organisation based in Maidstone, Kent, who are looking to employ an experienced Golang Developer with an in-depth knowledge of Go / Golang, distributed systems on AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform. The successful Golang Developer the following benefits including: * Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum * 25 day's holiday * Company Pension Plan * Healthcare plan * Career Progression * Free office parking * Hybrid working - 2 day per week in the office Some of the main duties of the Go Developer will include: * Backend and platform development in Go * Building the real-time services that ingest, process and act on telemetry from thousands of GNSS/IoT tracking devices in the field. * Parse and generate binary device protocols * Handle GNSS, GPS and RTK positioning data end to end * Provide Technical leadership within an agile squad * Tackle a variety of problems ranging from IoT hardware and protocol integration, high volume RTK & GPS event processing In order to be the successful Golang Developer and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following: * Strong, production-grade Go experience * Experience building distributed / event-driven systems at scale * Experience of message brokers NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar * Solid database experience with PostgreSQL * Comfortable operating in Kubernetes and working with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as code, across AWS and/or Azure This really is a fantastic opportunity for a Golang Developer to progress their career.
