Up to £57,000 + bonus + strong package
  If you’re an Engineer who wants more ownership, more visibility, and a product you can genuinely influence, this is worth a look.   This isn’t a narrow role. You’ll sit at the centre of a Command & Control system, the part that thinks, decides, and drives the capability of the entire system.   You’ll lead design across hardware and software, work across multiple programmes, and see your decisions move from concept through to delivery.   Recent export success means real investment, new customers, and complex integration challenges. It’s a chance to step into a leadership role where your input genuinely shapes the product.   What you’ll be doing:

• Leading a small team delivering system and software design
• Driving hardware and software integration across the product
• Translating requirements into robust design baselines
• Working across the full engineering lifecycle, from concept to test
• Engaging with stakeholders across systems, software, and project teams

What you’ll bring:

• Software design experience within a complex product environment
• Ability to lead small teams
• Understanding of the full development lifecycle (V-model)
• Experience with tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, or similar
• Ability to lead, influence, and solve complex technical problems
• Strong background in requirements, design, and integration
