A precision engineering business near Wetherby is looking for a CNC Miller to join its team. You’ll be working on a mix of batch production and R&D work across aerospace, telecoms, and automotive sectors – varied work with plenty of overtime available for those who want it.

What you’ll be doing:

• Setting and operating HAAS and Doosan CNC lathes (multi-spindle)
• Working across batch sizes from one-offs through to 1,000+ off
• Supporting R&D and prototype work alongside standard production
• Programming at the machine (for those with programming experience)

What you need:

• Proven CNC milling experience
• Fanuc and/or Haas controls ideal
• Confident setting and operating CNC lathes
• Ability to work from engineering drawings
• Programming experience desirable but not essential – salary reflects both levels

What’s on offer:

• £32,000 (setter/operator) or £36,000 (with programming experience)
• Monthly performance bonus: £50 – £400
• Weekday overtime – base rate + £6.50 p/h after 10 hours
• Saturday overtime – base rate + £6.50 p/h
• Sunday overtime – double time
• Bank holidays – double time plus day in lieu
• Days: 07:30 – 16:00, Mon – Thu / 07:30 – 15:00 Fri
• Permanent role with steady, consistent workload
