Environmental Project Engineer

Environmental Project Engineer   Based in Stevenage   Up to £55,000 | Bonus | 14% Pension | Overtime | Hybrid working   If you enjoy understanding how products behave in the real world, and making sure they’re robust enough to survive it, this could be a great next step.   This role sits at the heart of environmental engineering. You’ll be defining environmental requirements, shaping qualification and proving strategies, and delivering test activity that takes complex defence products from concept through to certification and in-service support.   It’s a role with ownership. You won’t just run tests, you’ll help decide what needs to be tested, why, and how. You’ll work closely with Systems, Design and Proving teams, acting as a technical interface for specific work packages and ensuring environmental compliance is built in, not bolted on.   We’re looking for someone with experience across areas such as vibration, shock, temperature, humidity and environmental standards, ideally within a regulated or defence-led environment.
