A fantastic Secondary SEN School in Blackley is seeking an enthusiastic and caring teacher to join their team, supporting pupils aged 11-19 with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and complex needs. This is a highly rewarding role where you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people while working within a supportive and experienced team. The Role As a Secondary SEN Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging, personalised lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with PMLD and complex learning needs. Create a stimulating, sensory-rich learning environment that promotes communication, independence and personal development. Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and other professionals to provide outstanding support. Adapt the curriculum to meet EHCP outcomes and celebrate every achievement, no matter how small. Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom where every pupil can thrive. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Has experience teaching pupils with PMLD, complex needs or within an SEN setting. Is creative, patient and committed to providing outstanding education for children with additional needs. Has excellent communication and organisational skills. Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. What We Offer Competitive daily rates of pay.
