Employment Lawyer (Solicitor / Associate / CILEX)

A highly regarded South Coast law firm is looking to appoint a 3-5PQE Employment Lawyer (Solicitor / Associate / CILEX) to join its leading Employment team in Southampton.

The team advises on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious matters, offering varied, intellectually stimulating work alongside genuine opportunities for career progression.

The Role

You will work as part of a specialist Employment team, advising a diverse client base across the full spectrum of employment law matters.

Key responsibilities include:

• Advising employers and employees on a wide range of employment law issues
• Managing a varied caseload spanning both contentious and non-contentious matters
• Supporting senior colleagues on complex disputes and strategic projects
• Delivering pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Contributing to training, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and client education programmes
• Working closely with colleagues across the wider firm to provide a seamless service to clients

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 years' PQE in Employment Law
• Experience handling a broad range of employment matters
• Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
• Excellent client care and relationship management skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
• A proactive attitude towards business development and personal growth
