A friendly and inclusive primary school in Eastbourne is seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join their regular bank team.
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers, supporting pupils across Years 3 to 6 with classroom learning, targeted interventions and day-to-day pastoral support.
If you enjoy helping children become confident, independent learners while working in a welcoming school environment, this could be the perfect opportunity.

The Role
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support learning across Years 3–6.
Deliver small-group interventions in English and Maths.
Assist pupils who require additional classroom support.
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
Prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
Work closely with teachers to help every child achieve their potential.

Has experience working within a primary school.
Is confident supporting KS2 learners.
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Can adapt to different classrooms and learning needs.
Brings energy, positivity and professionalism every day.

Teaching Assistant qualifications are welcomed but experience within schools is equally valued.

Essential Requirements

Previous UK school experience.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Two recent professional references.
Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
