We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEND school in Waterlooville that supports pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people who require specialist support to access their education.
The Role
As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties
Assist with personal care and mobility where required
Work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff
Encourage communication, engagement and independence
Provide classroom support tailored to individual learning needs
Help create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment

Ideal Candidate

Experience within SEND, education, care or support work
A patient, caring and empathetic nature
Comfortable supporting personal care needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for helping children thrive
