We’re currently recruiting for a Pupil Progress Coach to work within welcoming and supportive Primary Schools, starting in September.

This exciting opportunity is ideal for graduates and experienced support staff who are passionate about helping children achieve their full potential. As a Pupil Progress Coach, you’ll work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping to raise attainment, boost confidence and remove barriers to learning.

Whether you’re an aspiring teacher, educational psychologist, youth worker or someone looking to make a meaningful impact in education, this role provides an excellent platform to develop your skills and experience.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 on a one-to-one and small group basis.

• Deliver targeted interventions in Reading, Writing and Maths.

• Support pupils to achieve individual academic and personal development goals.

• Work with children who may require additional support, including those with SEND, Autism, ADHD and SEMH needs.

• Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, resilience and engagement.

• Support classroom learning and reinforce key concepts taught by the class teacher.

• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

• Support pupils in developing independence and a positive attitude towards learning.

• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

• Degree obtained within the last five years or relevant experience supporting children and young people.

• Professional employment references covering the last two years.

• A genuine passion for helping children succeed.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A proactive, positive and adaptable approach.

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable.

• Understanding of SEND, Autism, ADHD or SEMH is advantageous.

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
