Role Overview

The primary focus of this position is to deliver high-quality classroom instruction across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 on an ad-hoc or short-term basis. You will be responsible for executing lessons planned by the permanent teaching staff, managing classroom dynamics effectively, and ensuring continuity of learning for all students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to pupils across the primary phase.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.
• Ensure all school policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Provide comprehensive handovers to the permanent class teacher following the conclusion of your assignment.

Qualifications

• Must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
• Demonstrable expertise in classroom and behaviour management.
• Proven ability to establish rapport with new classes quickly.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of educational excellence.
