Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Our client, a prominent consultancy in the engineering sector, is currently seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Basingstoke. This permanent role focuses on residential development, with particular emphasis on private drainage and detailed development design, rather than solely highways projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and setting out private drainage systems for residential developments
• Utilising software such as Civil 3D and InfoDrainage for infrastructure and drainage design
• Collaborating with projects for renowned clients such as Bellway, Bloor Homes, Taylor Wimpey, and Barratt
• Engaging in some hospital, school, commercial, and industrial projects
• Working closely with Associates, Principals, and a new Principal Technician to manage workloads efficiently
• Conducting detailed development design work
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Contributing to the successful delivery of a range of infrastructure projects

Job Requirements:

• Strong residential development experience
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, and Microdrainage
• Experience in designing and setting out private drainage systems
• Understanding of highways drainage and infrastructure
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Flexibility to work from Basingstoke, with potential for working from Romsey/Southampton or London offices
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Chartership is desirable but not essential
