About the role
Job Title: Library Customer Advisor
Salary: £2765.75 - £2809.62 per annum
4 Hours per Week
Location: Bromsgrove Library
Team: Bromsgrove, Rubery, Catshill, Hagley and Droitwich Library Cluster
Permanent / Fixed Term Contract
Bromsgrove Library is recruiting. We have a vacancy for a Library Customer Advisor working 4 hours every Saturday.
The role is diverse, exciting and no two days are the same. You will help our customers access a wide range of resources and services. A typical day could see you provide digital one to one support, lead events and activities such as a song session for children or faciltate an activity group for adults. Expect to learn something new every day in a fast-paced customer focussed environment.
You will need to be enthusiastic and flexible and energetic, with excellent customer service skills. A will to find an answer to whatever question is asked is key.
You may have a background in retail, community, education, early years or library work - but whatever your experience, your understanding of the customer will be crucial. If you enjoy working with people, thrive on providing excellent customer service and you would like to be part of an innovative team, then we would like to hear from you.
The post is based at Bromsgrove Library but the expectation is that you would cover other locations within the cluster when required.
