About the role
Can you spot a great story, bring it to life and deliver results across multiple digital channels?
We're looking for an experienced Content Creator to lead the development of engaging content that promotes our services, places, projects and communities.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Communications Team and play a key role in supporting major council priorities, particularly economic development, regeneration and place promotion.
You'll be responsible for creating compelling video, photography, social media and website content, managing digital campaigns and helping shape our online presence.
No two days will be the same. You could be:
- Filming and editing video content
- Capturing photography
- Writing engaging copy
- Developing website content
- Managing social media campaigns
- Analysing performance data
- Working with local businesses, partners and stakeholders to promote important projects and initiative
About you
We're looking for someone with a strong track record in content creation, digital marketing or communications, who combines creativity with excellent organisational and planning skills.
You'll be confident managing multiple projects, building strong relationships and taking ownership of your work, while using insight and analytics to maximise impact.

Additional information
- You will be based in Kidderminster, working across all council offices.
- Hybrid working is available.
- You will be required to provide a suitable vehicle for this post.
- A flexible approach to working hours is essential. This role may require working outside normal office hours, including attendance at evening meetings.
