Permanent | Full time | Morpeth | Salary £31,537 - £34,434

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Social Care Training Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a skilled, confident and competent workforce supporting both adults and children across Northumberland.As part of a dynamic and supportive team, you will play a key role in designing, coordinating and delivering high-quality learning opportunities that make a real difference to practice. From statutory and professional development programmes to innovative workforce initiatives, your work will help ensure colleagues have the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to support some of our most vulnerable residents.
About you
We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning and development and understands the important role workforce development plays in delivering high-quality social care services.You will have experience of working within a learning and development environment and be confident in facilitating learning with a variety of audiences. In addition, we welcome candidates with experience of social work and social care direct practice. You will be an excellent communicator who can build positive relationships, work collaboratively and adapt your approach to meet differing needs.Why join us?

We work with colleagues across adult and children's services and with external partners to deliver learning that promotes excellence in practice, supports regulatory compliance and improves outcomes for people who use services.
