CNC Machinist

Forde Recruitment, the leading provider of engineering staff within South Yorkshire, are currently seeking a number of experienced CNC Machinists. CNC Machinist Responsibilities

• Operate single and multi axis CNC Machines, producing parts to achieve production schedules.
• Write and prove CNC Programmes and develop manufacturing processors for New Product Development and/ or engineering requirements.
• Comply with all Quality Management Systems in addition to all H&S requirements.
• Highlight any nonconformance and maintain all records and documentation and notify the correct person when problems arise.
• Ensure the work area and all equipment is well maintained to a high standard
• Identify opportunities for improvement.
• Be flexible and willing to learn new skills and share expertise

CNC Machinist Requirements

• Must come from a precision manufacturing setting - i.e. Aerospace, Medical, Automotive, Heavy industries - not Railway.
• Programmer/ machinists with 5 axis experience is advantageous.
• Fanuc operating system is desired
• Team player who works well with others
• Experience in using handheld equipment.
• Methodical, accurate and precise - keen eye for detail
• Experience using Mitutoyo CMM is beneficial
• A recognised Engineering Qualification is ideal
• Clear communicator and well organised

  CNC Machinist Working Hours:  Days and Afternoons available Pay Rate: £36,000 - 39,000 (dependent upon shift pattern and experience) - inclusive of shift allowance.
