Schedule: 5 days per week | 11:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: €2,000-2,500 per month (depending on experience and qualifications)

A warm and welcoming family based in Monaco is seeking an experienced, mature, professional English-speaking nanny to join their household and work alongside their existing nanny, providing high-quality care for their young daughter.

This is a long-term position for a nurturing and engaging nanny who is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys creating a stimulating and caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the child exclusively in English to support her language development.
• Plan and supervise educational, creative and age-appropriate activities, games and outings.
• Create a calm, safe and stimulating environment that encourages learning through play.
• Follow the child’s established daily routine, including mealtimes, naps and potty training.
• Encourage positive behaviour, independence and good manners.
• Keep the child’s bedroom, toys and play areas clean, tidy and organised after use.
• Work collaboratively with the family’s existing nanny and other household staff to ensure consistency in the child’s care.
• Maintain open and professional communication with the parents while respecting the family’s routines and privacy.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous professional experience caring for young children.
• Excellent, checkable references from previous families.
• Fluent English (minimum C1 level or equivalent).
• A genuine passion for childcare and child development.
• A warm, patient and nurturing nature.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A calm, reliable and trustworthy personality.
• The ability to work successfully as part of a team within a fully staffed household.
• A proactive approach to planning engaging and educational activities.
• A high level of discretion, professionalism and respect for confidentiality.

The following would be considered an advantage:

• French and/or Russian language skills.
• A valid driving licence.

Additional Information

• No cooking duties are required.
• The family has two friendly Toy Terriers.
• Live-in accommodation may be available if required.
• Unfortunately, the family is unable to provide visa sponsorship or immigration assistance.
• Employment can be arranged either through a contract or on a self-employed basis, depending on the successful candidate’s circumstances.
• Only working days are paid.
• The family is looking for the right person rather than an immediate start, so the commencement date is flexible.
