Contract: Full Time, Fixed Term (1 Term Initially – Likely to Extend)

A friendly and welcoming primary school in the DN7 area is looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a full-time position for the autumn term, with a strong possibility of the role being extended beyond the initial contract for the right candidate.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and creative learning experiences in an Early Years setting.
• Foster a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where children can thrive.
• Plan, assess and adapt learning in line with the EYFS Framework.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Support children’s academic, social and emotional development.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching within EYFS.
• Is passionate about providing an inspiring start to children’s educational journey.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Is flexible, proactive and committed to achieving the best outcomes for every child.
