Job Title: Fire Alarm Installation Engineer

Are you a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer based in Reading looking for your next opportunity? As a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of fire alarm systems across a range of commercial and residential sites, working with clients across sectors including healthcare, education, retail, and construction. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out 1st and 2nd fix installation of Advanced fire alarm systems to a high standard.
* Install cabling, detectors, call points, control panels, and associated equipment in line with project specifications.
* Read and work from technical drawings and installation schematics on site.
* Liaise with site managers, other trades, and project teams to ensure installations are completed on programme.
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with BS 5839 and relevant industry standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment throughout the installation process.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Proven experience in fire alarm installation, including 1st and 2nd fix works.
* Hands-on experience installing and terminating Advanced fire alarm systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
* Full UK driving licence.
* ECS or CSCS card (required).
* FIA Fire Detection and Alarm Systems qualification (desirable).
