Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for both customers and staff. Key duties include monitoring store premises through surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures. You will be tasked with identifying and addressing potential theft or suspicious behavior, as well as assisting in the prevention of loss through proactive measures.

The Retail Security Officer will also engage with customers and staff to provide assistance and information regarding store policies. In the event of an incident, you will be required to document occurrences thoroughly and prepare reports to share with management. Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential traits for success in this role. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and previous experience in security or loss prevention is preferred. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, is expected.
