Compound Operative – Electric Vehicle Processing

Location: Ellesmere Port CH65 1AX

Shifts: 0700-1500 Monday to Friday

Pay £12.91 per hour

Role Overviews:

Primarily this will be movements from the parking/charging area close to the factory into the Vehicle Despatch Compound or within the VDC from storage locations into load lanes. Use of hand held devices to ensure vehicles are located in the system; interpreting information on screens or paperwork to ensure correct vehicles are moved and that each vehicle is parked in the correct location.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to ensure they meet Stellantis RUA quality standards before handover.
• Safely move and park vehicles, including electric vehicles and both right- and left-hand drive models, carrying out pre-movement inspections.
• Maintain compound stock by performing battery and tyre checks.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
• Use and maintain company and customer equipment correctly, reporting any defects.
• Charge electric vehicles as required.
• Carry out 5S housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and organised workplace.
• Participate in team briefings and complete required on-site or off-site training.
• Undertake additional duties as directed by supervisors or management, where trained and appropriate.

Requirements

Experience in the automotive industry an advantage.

Full valid UK driving licence is essential, held for a minimum of 2 years. Able to demonstrate good communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to both work as part of a team and
