Asbestos Surveyor

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Asbestos Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough asbestos surveys in various properties, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will assess the presence of asbestos-containing materials, collect samples for laboratory analysis, and compile comprehensive reports detailing your findings. Your expertise will be essential in advising clients on risk management and the necessary steps for safe removal or management of asbestos materials.

Key responsibilities include performing both management and refurbishment/demolition surveys, maintaining accurate records of inspections, and ensuring all work is completed in line with current legislation and industry standards. You will also liaise with clients to provide technical advice and support, while working closely with project teams to integrate asbestos management into overall project plans. A strong understanding of the relevant regulations and best practices is critical, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant qualification in asbestos surveying and hold a valid certification. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
