About the role
Job Title: Contract Coordinator Location: Loughborough Job Type: Contract Role Job Length: 4+ month contract Start Date: August 2026 Pay Rate: £14.00 Per Hour - £17.00 Per Hour (Direct PAYE)Our client, a materials and aggregates provider is seeking an organised Contract Coordinator in Loughborough, to help provide administration support across their team. The position will entail working with a wider project team to ensure projects are planned out and delivered to schedule, including resource planning, plant and material allocation and updated of systems to track cost and spend.The applicable individual will be used to working within the Construction sector or similar, assisting with the organisation if site labour, materials and plant, ideally within a surfacing and civil engineering environment.The role is set to last for 4+ months’, although it is likely that this could be extended and we are able to offer a start in August.Daily duties will include but are not limited to:
Working with Project Teams and multiple stakeholders to plan and coordinate construction activitiesAllocating resources and updating plans to help track and control cost and programmesManaging and update systems such as SAP systemsRaising and processing orders for plant, repairs and maintenance, alongside a commercial teamProviding telephone support between the project team and external suppliers
Candidates will ideally:
Have worked in a similar Contract Coordinator role previouslyBe used to working within a construction environment, helping organise labour, materials and plantBe I.T proficient (used of systems like Causeway or SAP advantageous)Be used to working in a collaborative teams environmentStrong organisational skills, with good attention to detailGood communication skills, able to work as part of a team, and with external suppliersEffective telephone communication skills
