Location: Aylesford, Kent Pay: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour (DOE) Hours: 07:30 - 16:30 (flexibility required) Contract: Permanent Role | Weekend Rota Benefits: HGV Training & Career Progression Available   This opportunity would suit an experienced Removals Operative, Removals Crew Member, Furniture Remover, House Removals Assistant, Driver Porter, Porter, Removal Driver or Removals Driver looking for a long-term career with genuine progression opportunities. For hardworking and committed individuals, there is the opportunity to undertake company-supported HGV training, providing a clear pathway into a professional driving career. The Role As a Removals Assistant, you'll work as part of a professional removals team carrying out residential and commercial moves across Kent and the surrounding areas. Working alongside experienced Removals Drivers and Removals Crew Members, you'll assist with packing, loading, transporting and unloading customer belongings safely and efficiently, whilst maintaining exceptional levels of customer service. This is a varied, physically active role where no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities • Loading and unloading household and commercial goods • Packing and protecting furniture and personal belongings • Supporting Removal Drivers and the wider removals team • Safely handling furniture and heavy items • Providing excellent customer service at customer premises • Ensuring vehicles are loaded safely and efficiently • Working as part of a professional removals crew to complete jobs efficiently and safely What We're Looking For • Full UK Category B Driving Licence (essential) • Previous experience as a Removals Assistant, Removal Porter, Removals Operative, Driver Porter, Furniture Remover, House Removals Assistant, Delivery Assistant or Porter would be advantageous • Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties • Reliable, punctual and hardworking • Strong communication and customer service skills • Ability to work effectively as part of a team • Flexible approach to working hours • Willingness to work weekends on a rota basis    Whether you're currently working as a Removals Assistant, Removal Porter, Removals Operative, Furniture Remover, Driver Porter, House Removals Assistant, Porter, Removal Driver or Removals Driver, this is an excellent opportunity to join a company that invests in its people and offers a clear route for career progression.   Important Information Unfortunately, applications from candidates who do not hold a full UK driving licence cannot be considered.
