We’re currently recruiting for a KS1 Primary Teacher to work within welcoming and supportive Primary Schools, starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to make a positive impact during a crucial stage of children’s educational development. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we would love to hear from you.

As a KS1 Primary Teacher, you’ll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress and creating a nurturing classroom environment where children can develop confidence and a love of learning.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.

• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress.

• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.

• Support the development of children’s literacy, numeracy and communication skills.

• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

• Implement effective behaviour management strategies.

• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, support staff and senior leaders.

• Contribute to the wider life of the school community.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.

• Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum.

• Experience supporting phonics and early reading development.

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
