About the role
Specialty Trainee - Emergency Medicine - Belfast
Locum Specialty Trainee (ST1+) in Emergency Medicine required at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This is a day shift position starting 8th August 2026.
The successful candidate will work within the Emergency Department providing acute and emergency care under consultant supervision. Duties include assessment and management of undifferentiated patients, trauma cases, resuscitation, and minor injuries.
Requirements:
- Full GMC registration with licence to practise
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum ST1 level experience in Emergency Medicine or equivalent
- ALS/ATLS certification desirable
- Previous ED experience in an HSC or NHS setting preferred
