About the role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing command-wide programs such as the complaint Processing Program, Affirmative Action Program, and all programs under the Special Emphasis Program; Experience counseling employees, former employees and applicants for employment who believe they have been discriminated; Experience counseling aggrieved persons about the EEO complaint process; Experience writing and preparing written counselor reports; Experience consulting with cognizant line officials, attorneys, union officials, and other HR employees to develop resolutions and disposition to EEO complaints. Experience thoroughly reviewing formal complaints and appropriately acting upon any deviation and/or need for clarification to ensure timely and proper processing of the formal complaint. Experience writing and preparing complex appeal briefs, which require research of case law and significant precedent setting case. Experience compiling, reporting and analyzing statistical data to evaluate EEO complaints and to identify potential and current problem areas.
