Transport & Warehouse Coordinator

Role: Transport & Warehouse Coordinator Location: Bishops StortfordHours: Monday to Friday, 2:00am 10:30am (40 hours per week)Pay: £15.50 p/h An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Transport & Warehouse Coordinator to join one of our clients in Bishops Stortford CM23. For this role you will be required to have Forklift certificate. Benefits as a Transport & Warehouse Coordinator : Immediate start. Temp to perm. Training provided. Transport & Warehouse Coordinator Duties: Coordinate daily deliveries and collections. Work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure orders are ready for despatch. Scan and process parcels and pallets using handheld devices. Produce accurate delivery paperwork for drivers. Load vehicles safely and efficiently within scheduled collection times. Monitor daily despatch volumes and liaise with transport providers to adjust vehicle requirements where needed. Act as the main contact for transport providers regarding collections and delivery issues. Identify and report any orders that are not ready for despatch. Produce daily despatch reports for operational meetings. Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock control activities. Safely operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse. Supply production areas with materials and remove finished goods. You must have a valid in date FLT Reach forklift certificate. Must have proven experience operating a Reach forklift.
